A gem of an EP. Most of the seven “Winter Songs” are covers, including songs by Neil Young, Lindsey Buckingham, and Richard Thompson. Matt Pond PA applies their melodic, chamber oriented acoustic pop vibe to each song. Lead singer Pond’s vocals soar like Roy Orbison’s.
