Krum Bums- “Different Day, Same Old Story”
released September 29th, 2009 on TKO Records

The Krum Bums are a punk band from Austin, TX that formed in 2000. This is their third full-length album. “Dead New World” sounds like a cross between Anti-Flag and early Dropkick Murphys with a decent focus on melodic prowess and fast drums. “No Apologies” follows the same vein with fast, street-wise punk rock being the key focus. “Split Tongue” is kind of slowed-down and emo-like in nature but picks up in the middle with rough vocals. Overall, an interesting album and it’s too bad that “Coliseum” has a reference to sperm in it because it’s probably their best song on the album.
