This debut album by Black Blondie features the incredible vocals of Samahra, and the piano, synth, bass, and drums played by her three other band members. To label their album as one specific genre of music is difficult, however, Black Blondie describes their music as Alternative R&B. Do You Remember Who You Wanted to Be incorporates themes of love and loss in their thoughtful lyrics. The album flows together really well, each song is unique and soulful.
