Po’ Girls fourth release, Deer In The Night, is a nice blend of folk and alt with some blues and jazz thrown in. The songs have a nice diversity with a wide range of instruments(banjo, dobra, Wurlitzer, glockenspiel, gutbucket bass) and good vocals from singers Allison Russell and Awna Teixeira. This is a pretty good, mellow folk album that has an interesting sound.
