Electro glam-pop straight out of the 1980’s, Goldfrapp creates a consistenly strong album. Each track brings a new take on the synth driven electro-pop. The vocals are dreamy and delightful, at times sound like the singers of Stars, and other times sound like Neko case threw on a glittery jumpsuit, headband and legwarmers. Track 3 sounds a lot like a different take on a New Pornographers song. Overall, the album is a pretty solid addition to the genre with plenty of great songs.
