Say Goodbye To Useless is the third full length release from Deru. The first track may be a bit misleading with it’s operatic opening, but it segues well into the second track where you hear the introduction of slow dub beats and haunting vocals. Slow and steady with a futuristic urban sound, I’m reminded of Odd Nosdam, Flying Lotus, and a little Burial. Smooth and Subtly powerful, this is perfect to listen to as you pound you boots on the raining streets of The Metropolis.
