Chicago based Mahjongg’s third album is The Long Shadow Of The Paper Tiger. A mix of Indie and Electro Rock, there’s nothing new here right? However, there is a certain quirkiness to the album and an excellent nine minute track (Grooverider Free) that has a Dance atmosphere wrapped around it. There is also an Experimental vibe threaded through the album that adds to the already rich sound. Another album that strays from the path, but if you like trailblazing, then this album might be for you.
