It’s been 15 years but Nitzer Ebb is back with a new album, Industrial Complex. Nitzer Ebb pioneered Dance Industrial or EBM (electric body music) in the 80’s but their popularity waned in the 90’s and seemed to be lost in obscurity. But Industrial Complex brings this band back into the light. The album has an old school Dance Industrial sound but there are modern Electronica touches that freshens the sound and it doesn’t feel like it’s just a recycled album. The band still remains in their comfort zone and they don’t take many chances on this album. However, fans of Nitzer Ebb should enjoy this album. Nitzer Ebb has become a little more mellow in their “old age”, but they still retain their gritty, sleek sound that has made them so legendary.
