Strange Boys- Live Music (2011)

review by sattridg

The Strange Boys, four hunky punky Austin rockers have put out their third album, Live Music. I know what you are thinking, this doesn’t sound live and you’re right. Live is not “live” but rather “live” as in we are living this music right now. The Strange Boys continue to revive all that was lost in American rock. This is good old passionate guitar, harmonica howling music. This is blues for the modern age. At one point, it makes you want to tap your feet back and forth on the ground and rock out in a sweaty venue by yourself and the next, you want to be alone and think about nothing at all. Shining tracks include, “Me and You,” “Punk’s Pajama’s” and “Omnia Boa.” Check it out.
