The Sexbots are back (less than six months since the debut album Don’t Stop) with Love Hotel. The music is similar to the debut-sultry Electro Rock with equally sultry vocals from Ilama Considine. The tracks have a little more depth than the debut but Considine’s vocals are one dimensional-breathy, pouty vocals that have passion yet sound exactly the same from one track to another. You hear one track you’ve heard them all. This would be better on a compilation (Electro Love Songs of 2012 or something) so you at least had some variety. They say sex sells and I’m sure this will be the case with this album but will have regrets about it in the morning?
