Debut from Bastinado is titled The hard Six. The album has been created using a Reactable table. The concept is that you use blocks or “pucks” that interact with the table and with other pucks on the table to create music. The music itself is high energy House/Techno/EDM with the addition of a didgeridoo. It’s a random combination but it actually works. The didgeridoo is remixed and sampled to add a deeper dimension to the music. Overall a solid album and the music itself isn’t necessarily ground breaking but it’s always exciting to see new forms of music making.
